Compare freight forwarding software — CargoWise, Magaya, GoFreight, Logitude, Descartes and Linbis

Every comparison on this page checks each vendor's public pricing URL on a stated date, lists vendors alphabetically, names where the other platform wins, and puts Linbis's real plans in the same table. No trophies, no hidden ranks.

How every page here is built.
  • Prices are checked, not assumed. We request /pricing on each vendor's domain on a stated date and record what came back — a figure, a page with no figure, or no page.
  • Vendors are listed alphabetically. Linbis is not placed first and is not awarded anything. Its row is shaded so you can find it.
  • The other platform's strengths get their own section. If the honest answer for your operation is "stay and renegotiate," the page says so.
  • Competitor capabilities are their public positioning. We have not operated their products; we describe what their sites say and label it as such. The Linbis column describes the shipped product, with counts taken from its configuration.
  • We disclose the conflict. Linbis publishes these pages. Read the concessions before the recommendations.

The master table

Six platforms forwarders shortlist together, on the four things that decide a switch: who it is built for, whether a price is published, how you get live, and whether it files US customs from the shipment.

Linbis: $150 / month (1 user) · $299 / month (3 users) — published. Every other vendor on this page: no figure at its public pricing URL on the date above.

CargoWise

The category's reference platform — and, since the December 2025 repricing turned a fixed bill into a usage-based one, the platform most forwarders are re-evaluating.

Magaya

Forwarding plus warehouse with a long US–Latin America presence, and no published price. Linbis includes the warehouse on Premium — with offline scanning and snapshot storage billing — so the comparison is about mechanisms, not about whether a warehouse exists.

GoFreight

A US-facing forwarder and NVOCC platform positioned as AI-powered, with accounting inside, a pricing page with no numbers, and sales-led onboarding.

Logitude World and Descartes

Logitude for cloud-first forwarders on per-user plans; Descartes for enterprise customs and security filing inside a larger stack.

By job, not by vendor

The comparisons buyers actually search for, each built the same way — and the product pages the comparisons point at.

How to use these pages

Read the concessions first — every page names where the other platform wins. Then take the five one-week trial checks from the CargoWise page and run them on every platform you shortlist: one consolidation from real orders, one document corrected once, one invoice with income and cost on the same line, one ISF assembled from the shipment, one email approved into a record. A demo shows you the vendor's shipment. A trial shows you yours.

Test any of them on one live shipment.

Start free beside your current system — no card, a working chart of accounts and more than 90 document templates on day one — and run the same five checks on every platform you shortlist.
