Compare freight forwarding software — CargoWise, Magaya, GoFreight, Logitude, Descartes and Linbis
Every comparison on this page checks each vendor's public pricing URL on a stated date, lists vendors alphabetically, names where the other platform wins, and puts Linbis's real plans in the same table. No trophies, no hidden ranks.
- Prices are checked, not assumed. We request
/pricingon each vendor's domain on a stated date and record what came back — a figure, a page with no figure, or no page. - Vendors are listed alphabetically. Linbis is not placed first and is not awarded anything. Its row is shaded so you can find it.
- The other platform's strengths get their own section. If the honest answer for your operation is "stay and renegotiate," the page says so.
- Competitor capabilities are their public positioning. We have not operated their products; we describe what their sites say and label it as such. The Linbis column describes the shipped product, with counts taken from its configuration.
- We disclose the conflict. Linbis publishes these pages. Read the concessions before the recommendations.
The master table
Six platforms forwarders shortlist together, on the four things that decide a switch: who it is built for, whether a price is published, how you get live, and whether it files US customs from the shipment.
| Vendor | Built for (public positioning) | Published price (public pricing URL) | Getting live | US customs filing | Read the comparison |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CargoWise (WiseTech Global) | Global networks; groups of separate legal entities filing customs in many jurisdictions, with in-house IT | Not published — cargowise.com/pricing returns 404; usage-based "value packs" since 1 Dec 2025 | Partner-led implementation, months | Broadest multi-jurisdiction coverage of the six | CargoWise alternatives → |
| Descartes | Enterprise customs, security filing and carrier connectivity as part of a larger Descartes stack | Not published — descartes.com/pricing returns 404 | Enterprise sales and implementation | Customs and security filing products (public positioning) | In the CargoWise table → |
| GoFreight | "AI-powered freight forwarding software & all-in-one TMS" for forwarders and NVOCCs, with accounting built in | Page exists, no figure — gofreight.com/pricing shows a consultation form and zero dollar amounts | Sales-led onboarding (public positioning) | Customs filing listed among its modules (public positioning) | GoFreight vs Linbis → |
| Linbis | Forwarders, NVOCCs, customs brokers and 3PLs — one office or many — that want enterprise configuration without a consulting project, and the price up front | Published. $150 / month incl. 1 user · $299 / month incl. 3 users · Enterprise by quote — linbis.com/pricing | Free trial, no card; working chart of accounts, more than 90 document templates and a permissive workflow on day one; import wizards with dry-run preview; phased migration off the old Linbis Logistics platform, run by the Linbis team, on Premium and Enterprise | ISF 10+2 and AMS transmitted to CBP from the shipment under your own SCAC and bond; CBP-approved software provider | Plans → · Product → |
| Logitude World | Cloud-first forwarders wanting per-user plans | Not at the pricing URL — logitudeworld.com/pricing returns 404; per-user figures ($39–$79 per user / month billed annually) are on its Spanish pricing page | Self-serve sign-up (public positioning) | Not a stated focus (public positioning) | Logitude vs Linbis → |
| Magaya | "The #1 freight management platform for freight forwarders and customs brokers"; forwarding plus warehouse, 2,300+ customers in 100+ countries (its figures) | Not published — magaya.com/pricing returns 404 | Sales-led implementation (public positioning) | Magaya Customs Compliance (AMS, ISF, ABI) — public positioning | Magaya vs CargoWise vs Linbis → · Magaya alternative → |
Pricing URLs requested 5–6 September 2026. Competitor rows are their public positioning; we have not operated their products. We do not reprint third-party star ratings — check G2 and Capterra directly and note the review counts and dates.
What Linbis brings to every one of these tables
Mechanisms with counts, not adjectives — every figure below is taken from the shipped configuration and appears in the comparisons in context.
CargoWise
The category's reference platform — and, since the December 2025 repricing turned a fixed bill into a usage-based one, the platform most forwarders are re-evaluating.

Read the concessions first — every page names where the other platform wins. Then take the five one-week trial checks from the CargoWise page and run them on every platform you shortlist: one consolidation from real orders, one document corrected once, one invoice with income and cost on the same line, one ISF assembled from the shipment, one email approved into a record. A demo shows you the vendor's shipment. A trial shows you yours.
Test any of them on one live shipment.
Start free beside your current system — no card, a working chart of accounts and more than 90 document templates on day one — and run the same five checks on every platform you shortlist.
