M – Terms that Start with M
- Manifest – A list of all cargo on board, used by carriers and customs.
- MAWB (Master Air Waybill) – Air freight document issued by the main carrier.
- Multimodal Transport – A shipment that uses two or more modes under a single contract.
- Minimum Charge – The lowest fee a carrier will accept for a service.
- Marine Insurance – Coverage for goods transported over water.

- Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) – A company that books ocean freight without operating ships.
